An Agreement that has punters smiling If Galway 2013 keeps going the way it's going it's unlikely to be recalled with any great fondness by the bookmakers. Agreement, the well-backed 4/5 favourite was another one for punters as he gave Ballydoyle their initial victory of the week at Ballybrit. In this mile and a half five runner affair, Agreement was 'set alight' entering the straight and he went on to beat the front-runner Stepping Down by five lengths. The Weld contender here, Calibrate had nothing more left to over from under a quarter of a mile out and eventually beat just 16/1 chance Keychain home. Aidan O'Brien said: "I'm absolutely delighted. We were a little bit worried about the ground and he got the trip well which was probably important today. "I was worried about his fitness too. He had a break and is not long back. He had a big hold-up after Tipperary and on that ground I was just a bit afraid. "Joseph said he stays well and that he should step-up a good bit. "He's a good moving horse and we might put him in a handicap and see what mark he gets." Joseph O'Brien's summation meanwhile went as follows: "He's very tough and I got a nice position. He relaxed well and he did things right." (TW & EM)
