J.M. Sheridan, rider of Hermione's Angel trained by J.H. Scott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the injured horse
G.P. Brouder, rider of Katelyn's Dream trained by Ian O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left in the straight and didn't move well
B.M. Coen, rider of Cisne trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the injured horse
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Katelyn's Dream, trained by Ian O'Connor, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Excelerina, ridden by K.J. Manning, La Bella Viva, ridden by R.C. Colgan, and Rockonmolly, ridden by Kieran Moody, where it appeared Rockonmolly pulled up quickly. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Kieran Moody stated that his mount became unbalanced and he pulled up. R.C. Colgan stated that he was following Rockonmolly when he heard a bang and saw that she was injured. K.J. Manning stated that he received slight interference but was otherwise unaffected by the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
