American Belle (IRE) wore earplugs throughout the race and was given permission to wear a red hood to post.
The winner, Liberalist (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Leicester on 26 July 2023 where the filly finished fifth of six, beaten by 9 ½ lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Michael Bell could offer no explanation for the filly’s improved form.
Liberalist (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Benoit de la Sayette reported that American Belle (IRE), unplaced, ran too free and Jack Mitchell reported that Princess Niyla (GB), placed second, ran green on the top bend.
