The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately three furlongs from the finish involving Dgalwaygallivantor, ridden by K.M. Donoghue, placed first, Erigmoor (GB), ridden by Sam Ewing, placed fifth, One And Only, ridden by P.T. Enright, placed fourth, and Warm In Gorey, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed third, where it appeared One And Only had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. K.M
Donoghue stated that he kept a straight line down the hill. Sam Ewing stated that his mount got unbalanced coming down the hill. P.T. Enright stated that his mount overreacted and felt no pressure from his outside. D.J. O'Keeffe stated that he kept a straight line down the hill. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action
