The Stewards enquired into an incident on the final bend involving One Fine Morning (GB), ridden by M.P. Walsh, placed fourth and Mister To Mister, ridden by B. Hayes, placed first, where it appeared One Fine Morning (GB) met with interference on the inside. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found B. Hayes in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and suspended him for two race days. The Stewards requested a report from Benjamin Arthey, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Mister To Mister, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that he had recently changed this horse's training and feeding routine which may have brought about some improvement in the horse's performance. He also stated that this horse's best form is around this track. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the contents of the report.
