The Stewards received a report from Mr. H.T. Hynes, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board, Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that S.W. Flanagan, rider of All The Chimneys, weighed in at 1.1 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that rider was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record, suspended him for 2 racedays
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fairly Legal, trained by Robert Tyner, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
