G.P. Brouder, rider of Golden Light trained by F.Costello, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly throughout. The Stewards informed A.J.Martin, trainer that Oighear Dubh, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again. The Stewards fined F.Costello, trainer, ?350 for failing to lodge a passport in respect of Golden Light. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
