The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final 100 yards involving Tai Sing Yeh, ridden by C.T

Coen, placed fourth, where it appeared horses got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned
B.M. Coen stated that his horse wasn't helping him and felt the interference was caused by tired horses rolling around. C.T. Keane stated that his horse was getting tired coming to the road but he kept relatively straight to the line. W.J. Lee stated that his mount got tired and rolled in but he grabbed his mount up near the line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action
S. Foley, rider of My Minervina trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount changed his legs up the straight and ran around a bit.
