The Stewards received a report from Ms. Inge D'Haese, MRCVS, Turf Club Veterinary Officer that the vaccinations contained in the Passport of Cheval Place, trained by Lady Jane Gillespie were incorrect for the second successive occasion. In accordance with Rule 90 the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Cheval Place and fined the trainer ?350. Ms K. Ferris, rider of Derecho Storm, trained by Eoin Gerard Barry, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung throughout. Mr P.C. Bannon, rider of Peggy's Acre, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung in the straight.
