She was hampered early and didn't turn on the bend. She's a funny horse but sticks her head out and keeps going. She's lazy at home and doesn't do a tap,.
Giving is a strong Order
Her last run here was an eye-catching one, and I thought she'd nearly win tonight. We think she could be a Listed filly, and the ground needs to be good to see her at her best. She'll come on a bit from that run and we'll try to get her some black type. I thought that looked quite a good maiden.
Berry doubles up with Green
A mile is too short, and I'm going to step him up in trip. There is a nice race over 1m4f at the Curragh in about three weeks time.
Landmark win for Lyons
That's huge for the yard, and its great to be training for a man like Sheikh Mohammed. This is a genuine three-year-old, and all my horses have been needing a run after a long, hard winter. He's a nicely handicapped horse and its onwards and upwards with him.
Rock completes double for Lyons/Murtagh
Its rare I keep a horse this long but he's always promised to do something. I think he's a bit better than that grade, and the cheekpieces did the trick. He could do a job over jumps.
Athos pleases punters
He came from the horses-in-training sale at Newmarket last year. He showed smart form in England and confirmed that again here. I've no further plans.
