The Stewards informed A.L.T.Moore, trainer that Positive Vibes (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Hareth, trained by C.F. Swan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Pivot Bridge (GB), at the request of trainer, Adrian McGuinness, and reported the animal clinically abmormal post race.
An extended handicap for four yrs old and upwards (75 = 10st) Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra for each race won. Any horse rated above 75 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 10st. Subsequently, the excess over 75 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse.
