He’s just one of those colts - a laid back lad and is getting better with each run. We always thought he had ability and Conor (Hoban) said he got a bit lonely in front but when they came to him, he shook him up and went again. He handles the surface well, is sound and has a good attitude. I put the blinkers on him as he was just so lazy but he probably doesn’t need them. The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Compatriot, ridden by G.F. Carroll, Crois Lion (USA), ridden by K.J. Leonard, Dignified Air (GB), ridden by Karen Reidy, Boketto, ridden by R. Coakley, and Kitsune (GB), ridden by G.P. Halpin, where it appeared Dignified Air (GB), Boketto and Kitsune (GB) suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, in the presence of Mr. Denis Coakley, representing Killian Leonard. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the interference was caused accidentally, namely as a result of inexperienced horses running freely, and they took no further action.
