At the request of the Integrity Department at the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority, an enquiry was held before the race due to betting concerns surrounding Shut The Box (IRE), trained by Chris Gordon.
Gordon was interviewed by telephone and asked for his expectations for the gelding today, how Shut The Box (IRE)’s preparation had gone and what tactics would be employed in the race.
