FormscanBy Tom Weekes - EL BARRA was a Grade A winner at the Punchestown festival, runs without penalty and is suited by this distance. His best form is on a sound surface and blundered when exiting in the Kerry National in September but had previously run well in the Galway Plate and has winning form on testing ground. Idas Boy won well on chase debut over course and distance recently and while he faces a tougher task, can continue to do well over fences. Lightly raced eight year old Shadow Rider is suited by testing ground and this distance but needs to improve while Grand Paradis is a course and distance winner but also has needs a career best. Panda Boy would prefer a longer distance and makes his reappearance while Brampton Belle was a Listed novice hurdle winner last season but meets vastly more experienced rivals.
