FormscanBy Alan Magee - A LAW OF HER OWN won a bumper and handicap hurdle for Peter Fahey and following a spell with Dan Skelton, has rejoined the Monasterevin trainer this year. The point-to-point winner has been placed on all three starts since switched to fences including when third to Pink In The Park in a Listed race at Clonmel on Thursday. Air Drop likes to force the pace and has been placed twice since sent chasing but appears held by the selection on a line through San Salvador. Nara kept good company in juvenile hurdles last term but fell on her chasing debut at Sligo last month.

Quotes on A Law Of Her Own (IRE)
She's tough and when she won her bumper she was as tough as anything as well. It took her a while to get a hang of the jumping and she never really got nice ground so we put her away after her last run,. She's a lovely filly to have and it's great that she's done this. Hopefully she can pick up a bit of black-type somewhere along the way for the lads. She's not short of pace and she'll go back on the Flat as well. They'll have plenty of options with her, she won a point-to-point as well so there's no reason why she can't go either way. It's great to get another winner as they've been running well without winning for the past two days. This gives me reason to celebrate and have the craic!'After A Law Of Her Own (IRE) finished 1st at Galway on Wed, 2nd Aug 2023 2m Hcap Hurdle Yielding

Quotes on Dame Rapide (IRE)
The ground was key to her today. She's been running well all year and she deserved that. She's a lovely honest mare and I think she's improving as she's getting older. Hopefully there is more to come from her and she'll jump a fence too in time. I might even look to England with her next, it depends on the ground here. Yielding ground is probably as slow as she'd want it. She did that well and hopefully the handicapper won't be too hard on me.After Dame Rapide (IRE) finished 1st at Fairyhouse on Sat, 12th Oct 2024 2m Hcap Hurdle Good

Quotes on Enjoy The Dream (GB)
We were running her hoping she might run into third or fourth,. After the third last I thought she was going to run a lovely race and when she straightened up I thought 'we're in with a big shout now'. She only had the one run over hurdles and I thought if we're going to lose our novice status at this time of year we may as well make it well worthwhile. She's a very happy filly, she can be very keen and she can do a lot of messing but she's quite relaxed behind it. She's just starting to settle down in herself and I think there could be more improvement to come from her. We don't get many shots to buy a horse with a chance to be a graded horse. Realistically she's the only one we've had that was in the price range that might end up in graded company so it's nice that it's worked out. She only had one run in Gowran which was actually quite an easy run because she got banged into early on and didn't have a hard race. That's the first race she's really had so we'll definitely go to Punchestown, I'll have a chat with the Dr (Andrew Heffernan) but I'd say we'll most likely go there. I'd imagine we'll even keep going after that. I think she has a rating around 90 on the Flat and she could also have the option of going to France for the summer. She has a brilliant pedigree and when we bought her the consignor was saying she was in the wrong sale as she'd make more money in the broodmare sale. It's all black-type and she has a residual value but we won't be going there for a while. SAfter Enjoy The Dream (GB) finished 1st at Fairyhouse on Mon, 10th Apr 2023 2m Hurdle Soft

Quotes on Kilbarry Saint (FR)
She had a good point-to-point run, but became disappointing in the interim when she became free and it took us a while to get the hang of her. She is an honest mare and, even though she is by Saint des Saints, she had a Flat pedigree and her dam is by Martillo. Black-type will be the ultimate aim, she is going the right way now and you'd never know she might be in the right place at the right time some day. After Kilbarry Saint (FR) finished 1st at Clonmel on Thu, 15th Feb 2024 2m Hcap Hurdle Heavy

Quotes on Splashing Out (IRE)
I'm delighted to start the season with her like that. She had been a small bit frustrating last season and while she had a couple of nice runs, she never got there,. She had been a little immature mentally but the cheekpieces helped. She had a good run here last winter on heavy ground so had no worries about the ground although it was her first run of the season. We'll see what the handicapper does - last year he had her mark but if she gets a fair penalty, she might hopefully win again. That was Peter's first ride for me, Gary Cribbin his agent suggested him to me and he gave her a nice ride and filled her with confidence the whole way around. After Splashing Out (IRE) finished 1st at Limerick on Tue, 21st Nov 2023 2m Hcap Hurdle Heavy
