Formscan By Donal Murphy - MAGIC WAND impressed in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot, and she should be able to follow-up now with Ryan Moore in the saddle. She was a disappointing fourth in the Epsom equivalent last month, but the ground was soft there, and it appears she needs a sound surface to be seen at her best. Her two wins to date have come on quick ground, and with conditions set to be in her favour, she looks the one to beat. Forever Together has already beaten the selection twice this season, and is the highest rated runner in the line-up on a mark of 116. She was disappointingly beaten into second in the Pretty Polly on her latest start, but is tried in cheekpieces for the first time now, and it would come as no surprise if she managed to take this. Aidan O'Brien trains the aforementioned duo, and he is also represented by Bye Bye Baby who is not without her chance. UK raider Sea Of Class is two from three, and easily accounted for subsequent Belmont Oaks winner Athena on her penultimate start at Newbury. She steps up to the highest level for the first time now, and can be expected to go close with James Doyle aboard. Mary Tudor would be a popular winner for Willie McCreery and Billy Lee, and it'll be interesting to see how she fares, stepping up in trip to a mile and a half for the first time.
