He went down by just a head and a length in a competitive handicap hurdle at the Punchestown Festival in April, but only got as far as the first fence at Galway last week. Hopefully he'll get further than that now, and with a clear round of jumping he can be expected to go close. Act In Time was a decent fourth on his debut over fences at Killarney last month, and he should give a good account of himself with the in-form Jody McGarvey aboard. Just Cause (first time tongue strap) disappointed at Galway, but the drop back in trip to two mile three here should suit him better, and he looks to have solid each-way claims. Double Speak won on his penultimate start at Limerick and he is another to consider along with Justmemyselfandi.
