Moktamel has bumped into a couple of really progressive types this season, and has a highly capable 5lb claimer on board, while Ultra Pride has gone up 9lbs for a big-field win here a fortnight ago but can still be a factor and the extra distance shouldn’t inconvenience him. Shamad beat a subsequent winner at Gowran, has Derek O’Connor’s assistance and is another with a form link to One Cool Poet, having finished fourth when Matthew Smith’s stable star gained the second of his three wins during race week in Galway.
