Permission was given for Eidikos (GB) to wear a hood in the parade ring only and to go early to post, for Kind Gesture (GB) to go early to post and for both Oscula (IRE) and Zanbaq (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference involving Zanbaq (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Jim Crowley, Snooze N You Lose (FR), unplaced, ridden by Sam James and the winner, Jumbly (GB), ridden by Hollie Doyle.
Doyle was cautioned for careless riding as she allowed her mount to shift right-handed when not sufficiently clear of Zanbaq (IRE) at the same time that Snooze N You Lose (FR) shifted slightly left- handed, causing Crowley to become short of room and take a slight check aboard Zanbaq (IRE).
Having reviewed the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that James’s involvement in this incident did not constitute a riding offence.
