FormscanBy Alan Magee - YALE was well-supported on all three starts last year and, after getting collared close home on soft ground at Navan, opened his account in a five-furlong maiden on the Polytrack at Dundalk. It’s interesting that connections have held onto the son of Scat Daddy and presumably he’s viewed as better than a 74-rated handicapper. Inflection Point showed some promise for Ger Lyons and is now dropped in trip on his handicap debut and first outing for Kieran Cotter. Others to consider include Lightning Charlie who won twice over this trip at Dundalk earlier this year, while Lequinto also won in good style last time out over six furlongs on the all-weather. Divine Covey was placed twice from four starts for Richard Hannon last year including in a Newbury nursery and is an interesting acquisition for the Padraig Roche yard.
