Little Clarinet gained a deserved victory after a couple of near misses when claiming the Korea Racing Authority Handicap at Leopardstown.

David Marnane 's charge had been third on her last two outings at the Curragh, beaten just over a neck on both occasions.

Red Sabor set a strong pace in tonight's six furlong contest and burned off A Little Bit Me turning for home.

He was chased down by Little Clarinet passing the furlong marker, however, and Oisin Orr kept the 4/1 shot going in the closing stages to record a half length win over Hunaina

Ed Marnane, brother and assistant of the trainer, said:- “She deserved that, although she idled a bit in front.

“There is a fillies handicap coming up at Naas that she could go for, and there is also a fillies handicap at the Ebor meeting if she improves.”
