Lightkeeper makes it four in north for Elliott and Gilligan

Danny Gilligan rode his first four-timer when Lightkeeper took the Bluegrass Horse Feed Rated Novice Steeplechase.

The seven-year-old Walk In The Park gelding also gave Gordon Elliott four winners on the card (Timmy Tuesday, Cher Tara and Favori De Champdou .

The 3/1 chance tracked and launched his challenge four out. He led before the next and asserted before two out. He kept on well to post a seven-and-a-half-length success over 2/1 favourite Spirit Of Legend Clifftop (6/1) completed the placings in third.

Gilligan said: "Bit of good ground really helped him. On that ground, he found it a lot easier and got into such a good rhythm and it was great.

"He jumped real well and he was able to travel with me throughout.

"Very happy with him."
