Dermot Weld signed off a great evening at Galway with another winner in the finale, the Sean Cleary Memorial Maiden, Alveena bringing up a 636/1 four-timer for the yard in the hands of Pat Smullen.
Smullen rode two of the other winners too, like this one, Ebediyin and Simannka came in the Aga Khan silks.
Leigh Roche was the man aboard Weld's feature race victor, Zhukova an event that saw a one, two for Weld at 6.35, Smullen coming home in second on Almela
Alveena had narrowly failed at Wexford last time but she wasn't too be denied on this occasion, getting up to triumph over the dead-heaters, Fiorbheim and Spin Point by a length.
Well-backed favourite Deor could manage no better than eighth.
"She deserved that. She was a shade unlucky not to win at Wexford and she made up for it there to give us a nice four-timer," said Weld.
"She is rated 78 and she'll go for a handicap next."
