He did it nicely. We claimed him here in December and kept him going over Christmas. We only kept two or three going at home. I'm delighted that he put it to bed fairly well. I'll get profit on him if he's claimed, which is fantastic. Dean did a lovely job on him and hopefully he'll get a few more opportunities now. The Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Timourid, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that P.A. Harnett was in breach of R10.3(g) and having considered his record they suspended him for 2 racedays

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined War Hero, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
