I was in three minds about coming here as after Down Royal I said if he was okay he'd run here. I gave the horse a blow at home this morning to make sure he wasn't dead in himself and he felt great. He was very unlucky not to win two point-to'points when he fell and that's why I bought him. He is a promising horse. He needs to learn to switch off, he's 17 hands and I'd rather if the fences were in it down the back straight today. He is a good replacement for Hidden Cyclone and he'll either run in the Stratford hunters chase or the other hunter chase at Listowel next. John Joseph Hanlon, trainer

Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase 5lb extra
