They all count and it was a good race to win. He had a good enough season last year before he was beaten out of sight in a Grade 3 by Baily Green on soft to heavy ground. He loves good ground and he jumped brilliantly for his first handicap. The loose horse nearly wrecked the race for him. He loves Kerry tracks and we will keep him on the go for the summer.

I felt he deserved one. He had a great run behind Dazzling Susie at Clonmel, and last time well he just seems to hate Galway. Davy gave him a super ride, and it's great that Alan and Ann are both here.

that was good, he jumped great and Andrew was delighted with him. We were a little worried about making the running today as he made the running on his first run this summer, when Ruby rode him at Punchestown, and he didn't jump great then but he was probably green. He's in at Gowran on Saturday in a two miles handicap but I've a few horses going to Cheltenham in October and there's a two miles novice chase there and that could be the more realistic target. He disappointed at Killarney in a beginners chase when he winged fences until the third last fence when he got tired and stopped. A few of mine were running badly then and I still dint know why.

I'm delighted with that. Ruby was pleased with him and he said he would be better in a faster run race. He will be campaigned over the summer now in novice company.

We were hoping he'd improved from his Punchestown run. He has improved physically and strengthened up. He had a good enough run there and he had been working fairly impressively. We knew he was good and Conor said he just cruised there but he ran around a bit when he got to the front which wasn't surprising. He is our own horse so we'd have to consider an offer if we got one for him.
