The Stewards interviewed C.P. Hoban, rider of Mr Trinket, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had used his whip outside the guidelines
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that C.P. Hoban was in breach of R10.3(g) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion
