The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the second last fence involving Old Soul (FR), ridden by C. Stone- Walsh, and Atacanter, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, where it appeared horses collided in mid air. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Young Dev, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative reported that the reapplication of sheepskin cheek pieces combined with a return to a track he runs well at may have resulted in the apparent improvement. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered
