The representative of Paul Nicholls explanation that the filly was unsuited by the going which was officially described as Good to Soft, Soft in places, but changed to Soft following this race, and would prefer better ground was noted.
GRIVENTANA (FR) was routine tested.
Following the race, Harry Skelton reported that Petticoat Lucy (IRE), which was pulled up, stopped quickly and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the mare failed to reveal any abnormalities.
