The Stewards enquired into an incident inside the two furlong marker involving Medal Of Honour (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed first, Lethal Power, ridden by S. Foley, placed fourth, Rock Sound, ridden by D.P
McDonogh, unplaced and Raphael (GER), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action
