Permission was given for Lilkian (GB) to be mounted in the chute.

An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after leaving the stalls when Lilkian (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Tyler Heard, interfered with Verreaux Eagle (IRE), placed third, ridden by Mark Crehan.

Heard was cautioned for careless riding as he had simultaneously steadied the pace on Lilkian (GB) as he crossed left towards the rail when not entirely clear of a free-running Verreaux Eagle (IRE), causing Crehan to ease his mount in order to avoid heels.

An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start when the winner, Twilight Secret (GB), ridden by Stefano Cherchi, interfered with Show Me A Sunset (GB), placed second, ridden by Cam Hardie.

Cherchi was cautioned for careless riding as he had simultaneously steadied the pace on Twilight Secret (GB) as he crossed left towards the rail when not entirely clear of a free-running Show Me A Sunset (GB), causing Hardie to ease his mount in order to avoid heels.

A further enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after leaving the stalls involving Strike Me A Pose (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Charlie Bennett; Tawaazon (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Shane Kelly; and Strong Power (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Kieran O'Neill.

The interference was found to be accidental as, with the pace slowing Strong Power (IRE) had edged left-handed at the same time as a free-running Tawaazon (IRE) moved slightly right-handed, resulting in a hard pulling Strike Me A Pose (GB) having to be checked by its rider, after improving quickly between runners.

Inside the final furlong, the winner, Twilight Secret (GB), lugged left-handed, briefly inconveniencing Lilkian (GB), placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Twilight Secret (GB).

Following the race, Cam Hardie reported that Show Me A Sunset (GB), placed second, jumped awkwardly from the stalls; Shane Kelly reported that Tawaazon (IRE), placed seventh, jumped awkwardly from the stalls; Charlie Bennett reported that Strike Me A Pose (GB), placed fifth, ran too freely in the early stages and Kieran O'Neill reported that Strong Power (IRE), placed sixth, ran too freely.
