She's had her wee issues. We have her in foal now, she's in foal to Court Cave so I think probably that could be the turning point. The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, William Fleming, that M.J. Bolger, rider of Pat's Pearl, had weighed in at 1.1lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had taken fluids to rehydrate after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that M.J. Bolger was in breach of Rule 231 and therefore cautioned him having taken his previous record into consideration. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Glendine River, trained by Dermot P. O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race. B. Hayes, rider of Glendine River trained by Dermot P. O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Twilight Shadow, at the request of trainer, B. R. Hamilton, and reported the animal to have lost a right fore shoe.

An extended handicap hurdle for four yrs old and upwards mares only that are EBF eligible (116 = 11st 10lb)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap; shall not be less than 11st 10lb
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap to carry 6lb extra for each hurdle race won.
