The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Captain Guinness, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference at the last fence involving Found A Fifty, ridden by J.W

Kennedy, placed first, and Solness (FR), ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. W. Kennedy stated that his mount stalls and jumps out to his right on take off but felt he was always holding the second. D. E. Mullins stated that he suffered intimidation and had his ground taken and he felt it had cost him the race. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Found A Fifty, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung and jumped right throughout.
