A Dungarven Point To Point winner Pandorama was having his first start for Noel Meade and he never saw another horse during it as Nina Carberry made every inch of the running on the five-year-old by Flemensfirth.
Meade later remarked that he may now be put away for the summer as ?he wants soft ground and chasing will probably be his game."
It was a good performance by both horse and jockey to steal the day but out of the chasing pack came King's Forest whose only prior outing was when second in a four-year-old maiden at Lismore a fortnight earlier.
It was a good effort by the Celtic Swing gelding who had just one behind leaving the stands with a circuit to go and he stayed on well enough to suggest there is a bumper to be won with him.
They finished well strung out here and Glenquest and Final Question will both probably be better observed next time out while a disappointment was Tinahely winner Mister Matt who had just two behind at the finish after being sent off the 4/1 second favourite.
