Formscan By Tom Weekes - NYTOL didn’t show much prior to last month’s course second-placing but seems well suited by this distance and reasonable ground conditions. The selection managed just one placing in 2023 prior to returning following a 682-day layoff this year and while beaten by an easy winner here last month, the third has since won. Debut bumper winner Kevin’s Pride steps up in distance and should be suited by a return to drier ground but nonetheless the form of his two recent UK runs is nothing special. William Butler also scored on his bumper debut but was well held at Leopardstown over Christmas and meets more experienced rivals today. Lightly-raced Promontory is a chasing type and has place claims.
