Reports in which Jurby (GB) was mentioned
Wishmoor top of the veterans
His jumping was a mixed bag but Wishmoor (11/4 joint favourite) got it done from the front in the Goggin Buckley Veterans Handicap Chase at Limerick. Wed 30th DecJurby makes it 2 wins in last 3 starts
Saol Iontach (joint market-leader, reported clinically abnormal post race) didn’t come up to expectations for him earlier on but Gavin Cromwell struck in the penultimate event at Down Royal courtesy of the Johnny Moore-ridden Jurby. Tue 28th JanJurby strongest at the finish in Ballybrit
Jurby wore down front-running Le Hachette to take the Ballybrit Handicap Hurdle by a length and a half in testing conditions. Tue 08th Oct
After race at Down Royal Tue, 28th Jan, 2020 (1st)
Slow, jumps and stays! He loves it when he gets to the front, he enjoys himself and jumps great,.
Gavin Patrick Cromwell
After race at Galway Tue, 8th Oct, 2019 (1st)
Hopefully that will do his confidence good as he had leg trouble in the past and I'd say he hasn't forgotten it. Racing on nice, soft ground will do him the world of good and he will stay a lot further. He had been going really well the last two or three weeks at home and I saw the soft ground but I thought he wanted further - he does want further but got away with it.
Gavin Patrick Cromwell
