The Stewards enquired into an incident in the latter stages of this race involving Farceur Du Large (FR), ridden by Mr M.J. O'Hare, placed third and Slip Road, ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed fourth, where it appeared that both horses collided when challenging. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action

The Stewards interviewed Mr J. Hogan, rider of Ebadali, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr J. Hogan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion
