After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that the incident was caused by the gelding sustaining an injury.
Approximately ½ a furlong out Sea Master (GB), placed third, shifted quickly left-handed away from the whip, moving Lord Torranaga (FR), placed fourth, off its intended line which in turn carried Sutue Alshams (IRE), placed fifth, off its intended line.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Sea Master (GB).
