The Starter reported that Parish Academy (IRE) refused to enter the stalls and was withdrawn at 6:04pm.
Milton Harris was informed that the colt could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The Starter reported that Hollie Doyle, the rider of Hackness Harry (GB), had originally entered the wrong stall.
The rider was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
Having heard her evidence and confirmed events with the Starting Team, Doyle’s explanation that prior to the load she had informed the Stalls Handler she was drawn in stall 4 but the Stalls Handler had continued to load Hackness Harry (GB) into stall 6, despite her insisting that this was the incorrect stall, was accepted and no further action was taken.
Following the race, P J McDonald reported that Sepah (FR), unplaced, moved poorly; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding shortly after the race failed to reveal any abnormalities.
