The winner, Loch Linnhe (GB), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Newcastle on 6 April 2019, where the gelding finished eighth of nine, beaten 40 lengths.
Gillian Boanas explained that Loch Linnhe (GB) benefitted from the first-time application of blinkers.
The gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, Charlie Poste reported that Master Vintage (GB), which was pulled up, ran too free.
