Danz gains sixth course and distance win over Dundalk's minimum trip
I love that horse!. The race really fell for him because they went really hard. He's very good, and he's got a lot of speed, but if you've got to hold him up a bit he doesn't breathe, chokes himself and then doesn't see the race out. I don't think Robbie even got after him there because they fell apart and he just cruised through them. I said to Robbie if you don't miss the break by a heartbeat just drop your hands and if he ends up in front so be it. The minute you take a pull he just fights you and then it's game over. It's a shame there aren't a few more races for him. It seems to be when he hits that form he wins a few on the bounce. If I knew what I did to make him hit that form I'd be brilliant!
Lucky 13 for Doyle's Alwarda
she deserved that. Her last run here was a poor run, and we don't know why, but her run before that was a very good run. She finished behind Too Precious then, who has won three since, and Lady De Vesci who has won two since. We were a good third that evening. She's been running consistently all year and she deserves that. She won well tonight and we'll be back again. Wayne said she ground it out and kept at it all the way to the line. She handles the surface well.

Reckless Lad beaten to record by Georgian Bay
I was congratulating Pat Martin (trainer of Reckless Lad) as I thought we were chinned and his horse had got the record,. He just hit the line the right way. He deserved to get it because he's been running very consistently. It was great for the boys. Stephen (Thorne), that works for me, set up Shamrock Thoroughbreds and it's great to get a win with him. He's a real fun horse. The boys are getting a great bit of fun and he's making a few quid all the time as well. I think there's a claimer here in January for him and he'll tip away in handicaps as well. He loves the all-weather.
Playa Del Puente follows up maiden win with second Dundalk success
he did well to give the weight away to Joseph's horse () because he looked a nice horse on his first run. For the first two furlongs he was rushing it a little bit but then he spat it out and got into a nice rhythm. The further he was going the better he was going. I'd say he'll be a lovely horse in the middle of the summer with a bit more time under his belt. He's a nice horse. I was trying to stay away from the other horse as he had only one run under his belt whereas our lad had a bit more experience.
