Magnetic North calls the tune in Limerick
He is rock solid, has won plenty for us and the Dooley lads who own him have plenty of premier handicap horses. They have got great fun out of him and he is in at a claimable price. . If he is claimed he is claimed, and I won't cry on the way home but we have had great fun and he is well handicapped over hurdles for someone who wants to go hurdling. The ground went soft the last day he ran over hurdles and he wasn't right.

Conditions come right for Cnodian
God was on our side because we were drawn 17 before the stalls were taken away and she also likes an ease in the ground!. I wasn't wanting to run her because she is so honest and tries so hard and thought we had no change from (stall) 17 around here. Rory (O'Toole, owner) said 'let's take our chance' and it was a good call on his part, although he must have a direct line with God!. If the horses lined up properly she would have been wider, but Nathan did pony racing so knew what he was at. I'm delighted for him as he riding very well, is a hard worker and is a great young fella. Rory and Noeleen O'Toole bred her and she has won aged three, four and five and they want to breed from her - she is as honest as the day is long.
Lan Cinnte appreciates good drop of rain in Limerick
She was a consistent filly last season, and just didn’t get her head in front, but it was a very good return at Naas. We waited for the good ground, and I was a bit concerned about the good-to-firm, but Denis (Brosnan, owner) put his foot down this morning and said we’ll run her. . We were happy the rain fell when it did, she’s a nice filly, and it’s great to get that maiden bracket now. She’s got an entry for the fillies’ handicap over Derby weekend, and that’s where she’ll go. She’s a lovely filly, and we’ll go one step at a time, and I’d imagine towards the end of the season she’ll work up into a Listed filly or get a bit of black type. She’s a big girl and I think she’ll keep on improving through the year.
Navagio brings up double for Browne McMonagle
I'm delighted with him and he was impressive. When the rain came I was delighted as while he seems to handle all grounds, he goes on soft ground and it seems to help him better,. He is a big raw horse and we put cheekpieces on today to help him concentrate as he can be a bit lairy. Dylan said he felt great though. He is big enough to jump hurdles and, long-term, that's probably where he will end up, although probably not for Ballygallon Stud (owners). He might be sold at the end of the year and he would make a smashing hurdler.
Caffrey at double on Miss Abby Jools
He kept her out on the better ground and it made all the difference - her feet aren't even dirty. The race weakened a lot (with the withdrawals) but it is great to win.
