Star strikes for McAuley
That was brilliant to get. We've been a bit quiet on the grass, they've been running alright but we just haven't got a win on grass so it's grand to get that one out of the way,. He hit every ridge in Bellewstown the last day and Colin (Keane) said then if he hadn't hit the ridges he was sure he would have won. He was off for two years before we got him with a leg so if someone wants to take a punt they can. I said it about Big Challenge and I'll say the same thing about him. You are literally rolling the dice and seeing how he is in the morning because he has had a leg. I said to Jake he would either stay or not so to ride him as if he stays and if he doesn't it's on us and you've nothing to lose. He's done the job for us. He only cost two-and-a-half grand so if someone takes him, he's in for eight and won six, we'll be alright.
Third time lucky for Dolphin
I thought coming here today he would be hard to beat,. We put the cheek-pieces on him because he's just a bit starey, Ben said he was looking at everything. We'll see where we go next, the plan was today and it's always nice to get a maiden out of the way. Ben said a mile-and-a-quarter is good for him and he might even get a mile-and-a-half, but he's not a slow horse either.

La Dame Blanche puts herself in the shop window
We were expecting a big run the first day and she was a bit green, I was actually a little disappointed she didn't finish even closer,. I had her entered two weeks after but I wasn't just happy with her so we said we'd wait and come here. She was dropping back to a mile but I think she'll have no problem staying further. She's a good quality filly and I'd be hoping she can go on from this. The lads had another filly with me and they sold her and they will probably sell her on if the right money comes for her.
Angel's Trumpet brings up plenty of bets in Gowran
He ran in Cancer Trials Ireland's colours last year, the Rogers' sponsored him and he won a race for them. When he went to the sales there was no-one really for him and Tom Keane took a chance on him and syndicated him out. He's delighted and it's great for him to get a winner. Leigh is a neighbour of his too so it all worked out great. Hopefully he goes on and picks up another couple, he'll improve with a bit more ease in the ground. He jumped out and travelled and he did something similar last year in Killarney. He'll tip away now.

Bells On Her Toes puts her best foot forward
It's grand to get that. Eithne and Geoffrey (Thompson) bred her and she's a half-sister to With Thanks. We thought she was a nice filly early on in the year but she disappointed a few times. She seems to be coming back now. The ground was probably as quick as she'd want it. She was unlucky here the last day. They didn't go much of a gallop and she was only staying on at the finish. I think she'll go a mile and she will be better on softer ground. The handicapper can't do too much with her. With Thanks won the Athasi Stakes and she's a half-sister so a win on her card is the main thing.
Vischio delights Donohoe at his local track
She loves it here. It's nice to win here at my local track and the owners are local. Dylan gave her a lovely ride, he got all the fractions right. He got an easy enough time of it and she seems to like being handy and dictating. We could maybe go back over hurdles with her, she'll definitely mix it during the summer. When you have a dual purpose horse you have plenty of options. We'll maybe look at Galway and some of those nice places. Some relations of mine own her and it's an interesting story with her. She was bought a year-and-a-half ago for a close friend of mine who was fighting cancer and unfortunately he passed away last August and she went to the sales. Michael Donohoe bought her for his sister Mag who is having health issues as well. She is here tonight, is in great form and flying. This will give her a boost and everybody is getting a bit out of her.
