An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the penultimate hurdle when the winner, Style It Out (GB), ridden by Harry Reed, interfered with Hudson Yard (IRE), placed second, ridden by Gavin Sheehan.
Reed was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed when insufficiently clear causing Sheehan to switch his mount.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Hudson Yard (IRE), placed second, had lost both of its front shoes and that Puppetonastring (GB), which was pulled up, had lost its right fore shoe.
