he was second in two maiden hurdles last year and has been knocking on the door. I'm delighted to see him win one. He is a novice for the rest of the year and he might make a few trips over to the UK for a few novice hurdles.

she had a good cut at the second last, but the leap she threw at it showed she had plenty left in the locker to get away with it. I was a bit surprised about how she picked up from the bend and went over the last two. She has probably improved from last year and will probably go further in time if she has to.

thankfully it all went to plan. He is a nice horse to look forward to and it was great to get a winners bumper out of him. Hopefully we will have a good summer ahead of us with him. Patrick said he improved again since he rode him in Clonmel and he might even go for a little Flat race now, a qualified riders maiden in Leopardstown or something.
