Hughes back in winner's enclosure
We were a little a bit worried about the ground as they said he wanted firm ground in England but he handled the ground well today. I think he'll get 2 miles and we'll probably mix it on the flat and over hurdles for the Summer.
Byrnes/Russell in form at Bellewstown
That was badly wanted! The horse deserved to win today. Davy walked the track and he thought the ground on the outside was better and that made a fierce difference. We will probably go back to chasing now with him.

We bought the horse this day three years ago. I don't think he minds the ground. Nina said he did it very easy and we probably go for a winner's race at Galway next.
