Mangans strike Gold at Thurles
He is a half-brother to Wind Instrument (has won six races to date). He won his point-to-point in Liscarroll and Peddlers Cross (big Cheltenham hope) won the other division that day. He is a big chaser in the making.
Leader destroys them in Thurles feature
That's three Grade 2s now in 6 weeks (two for Luska Lad) so we're not going too bad. He was very good there and he'll probably now go to Aintree for the two and a half or three miler. He'd stay forever. He'd handle better ground too and I always thought he was better than Luska Lad. He'll go chasing next season. Conor said when he came in that we didn't see how good he was yet and he is right.
Shark doubles up with Misala
I only have him six or seven weeks and he is really a big chaser. He'll have a break now and come back then for Punchestown.
Ad Idem does the business
Queen comes good for Miley
Third time lucky. That was a lower class than she ran in the last day. The further she goes the better and she has the scope to jump a fence.
Basil delights Katie & Nash
When this race was lost to the frost two weeks ago, Katie convinced me to wait and it has been worth waiting for. We always liked him but the star performance has to go to his owner, Eamonn Duignan to give a nine-year-old another chance. He cracked his pelvis and he'll probably go chasing because he is a fantastic jumper. Katie gave him a fantastic ride.
Dynamic McNamara keeps fine run going
I have a good bunch of four-year-olds and this fellow is next years horse really.
Bruce does it for the locals at Thurles
I hate to run them in too many bumpers but we might get greedy, we'll see. This fellow would jump out of jail.
