The Stewards requested a report from D. K. Weld, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Tanaza, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative, Kris Weld, reported that his charge disappointed on her last start at the Curragh when she was badly drawn and ran free. He added that today's drop in trip helped his charge return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
