Wachman juvenile impresses
She always showed plenty at home but ran very green the first day, and lost her chance coming out of the gates. I expect plenty of improvement from her, and she got away with it on the ground today. The five furlongs was too sharp but her class won it for her. She should be competitive in those Stakes races.
Jamesie proves sprint king
He's a nice horse and I like him a lot. He's been second to some good horses, and we're hoping to go to Newmarket next month for a good handicap. A step up in trip will help as he's not really a five furlong horse. It was a good performance carrying that weight.
Icon completes quick double for Marnane/O'Donoghue
He's been knocking on the door, and in fairness is a horse that's had some horrible draws. He'd a good draw today. We'll see what the handicapper does but he'll probably go to Killarney next month.
Progressive Adi follows up
Johnny wanted to get into a nice position early on today, and she appreciated an ease in the ground and stayed well. She's gone forward from her Ballinrobe win, and is getting better with racing. The conditions of today's race suited her well.
Oxx pair dominate maiden
Obviously being by Sadler's Wells he appreciated that bit of ease in the ground. He's been running on firm ground, and the penny finally dropped today. He'll stay two miles and handicapping will be his game.
Lordan "Takes" double with Whatever
Wayne gave him a very good ride, and said he could do with the McCoy drive! He'll go jumping eventually, and will run next in another handicap wherever he gets in. That's our first winner on the Flat for JP.

What's seldom is wonderful! She's very honest and is some certainty for a maiden hurdle, with a bit of luck. We may keep her for a big mares Flat handicap at Sligo in about six weeks.
