What makes all under Doyle
I thought he came out of his last run at Naas well enough, and he's a real natural jumper. He's had lots of problems and was off for three years after breaking down. It was a slow procedure to get him back. He'll probably go to Leopardstown for another handicap in a few weeks. He's an improving horse and is going the right way.
Inis Meain another for Hogan
It was probably an average contest but he jumped slicker and travelled better than he did here the last day. The 8lb allowance (for horses that had not won a race) was also a big help. I've no real plans, we'll see what the handicapper does, and he'll go out to grass before he goes back on the Flat.
Snow comes late to deny stablemate
She's tough but Tommy said she hated that tacky ground. We were praying for rain all week as she wants loose ground. She doesn't want it good either as she's a big mare with big feet. She might go chasing next year but she's well-bred and if I owned her I'd put her in foal. She's a half-sister to a Group 1 winner. She's had a lot of problems but if she stays winning I don't mind.
Murphy opens Irish account
He's a grand horse. I thought he'd run a lot better the last day at Limerick but he scoped dirty. I've no real plans.
Better follows up in style
He got in here under a 4lb penalty and did it well. He came out of the Clonmel race well, so we decided to run him.
Paddy shoots clear in the bumper
He had a good run at Gowran but then disappointed when a lot of mine weren't right. I thought he'd run well today, and he'll go now for a maiden hurdle.
